Hey everyone! As usual, here's a long overdue update! This time I've got a good excuse for my absence though

I've been working with Arthur Petersen, son of legendary Sandy Petersen (designer of games like Call of Cthulhu, Doom, Age of Empires, etc.) in project to bring the Cthulhu (and other Lovecraftian) mythos to kids of all ages. The project is called Rock-a-Bye Cthulhu, and it's basically a rhyme and song book illustrated by me. It's running on Kickstarter right now and it needs your help! 

So please check it out (even if you can't afford to buy it) and let your friends know about it! I'll post some of the images from the book here so you can get a feel for it. 

Now, I love some community work, and I love giving back. So I want to do a little giveaway. Here's what we'll do. If you share the project's Kickstarter via any social media page please come back and reply to this post with a screen capture of your share (can be Facebook, Twitter, BoardGameGeek, Instagram,Tumblr, DA, etc.). Hey creeps, it's me again. So, I wanted to update you on what's going on, and what ever happened to all those projects I mentioned in my last post. So here we go:
1. The dreamlands series is complete and framed, as some of you might have already seen in my Facebook page. I will be uploading it here as soon as I get a decent picture
2. The Dreamquest of Unknown Kadath is in a bit of a dark stall called (enter deep voice) CODING!! (drop the deep voice). As you know, I was in charge of the monster designs, specially for the first levels. As the coding process continues, and before we get any real funding, there's not much else for me to do besides playtest (it's coming really nicely though, big thanks to our coder Kyle). So, if you wish to check the latest updates, please visit www.dreamquestofunknownkadath.com
3. The world of Crux. Yes, that's the universe I'm currently focused on creating. Thus far I've completed about 4 chapters of what I hope will be a small novelette. It is a very dark world really, where technology and mysticism have reached a very twisted peak. However, even if I am making progress in my story, I fear I am ever so slow in doing it, since I'm always polishing and rewriting stuff. As of now, I am only writing in spanish, but I might eventually translate some of it.
Now, for a small big announcement, I have NOT forgotten the fact that a couple of days ago our beloved Pokemon turned 20. So, as a small tribute to our dear pocket monster friends, I will be REBOOTING the pokedex project. I will have some new rules though, as I will be working on them individually (instead of in sets) and I will use decent materials (probably heavy canson with watercolor graphite).
One last thing. As you know, making art in this growing world is getting harder by the minute, as time is less available and more valuable. So, if any of you would like to support me on Patreon, please let me know! (I am testing the waters here, I don't have a Patreon yet)

First of all, a huge shout out to all of you guys who've been following me for such a long time. I know I disappear from time to time, but your resilience is incredibly important to my humble self
Now, as you might have noticed, I began 2016 with some color sketches, as I'm trying to increase my scope. I have never really worked with colors aside from a couple of digital works, so please be patient, and don't be afraid to give me some constructive criticism.
I've finished my last piece for my "Dreamlands" trilogy, which consists in 3 acrylic paintings depicting scenes connected to H.P. Lovecraft's Dreamlands dimension (Underground, Surface and Crawling Chaos). I will post all three together once I get the last one framed.
As you guys know, I've been working a lot on the videogame Dreamquest of Unknown Kadath, which is finally starting to shape up. Finally, some of you might have seen my "Wanderer" piece. This should be the beginning of a new project, and hopefully a big one, as I embark on the dark world of writing. As I shape the universe in which the Wanderer dwells, I will be adding concept art here, with short descriptions. If there's enough people interested in them I will upload some of the source material as I write it.

Hey guys, quick but big update here. I was contacted some weeks ago by a fellow deviant who saw my Lovecraftian art, and we had a really cool conversation regarding Dream Quest for Unknown Kadath (by Lovecraft). Interestingly enough, he is leading the production of a fan-made game about the story, where you will be able to play as Randolph Carter and live through his adventures in the Dreamlands as he seeks his so longed dream city. With this background, I was asked to participate in the project as a concept designer for the Dreamlands' creatures and foes. I am very exited about this project since I am a fan of HPL and his dream cycle. I will be posting the concept art here right after the team uploads it on the project's page, so you can follow the game's progress on both sites. Hope you guys like what you see!

Just a quick journal entry to let you know of new places where I'll be adding stuff:

- Facebook: I saw you can create an artist page there so I made my own. I will be uploading drawings based on thematics, but not all of them of course, just the latest ones and the best ones I see fit from my older collection. Another thing on the FB page, it might become a spanish gallery for me, but I will gladly answer in english as always.
